CHAPTER 4. JetManager
4.4.2. Defining an IP Pool
The range of IP addresses that can be used in the network is defined in the IP pool. JetManager selects IP
addresses from those defined in the IP pool and assigns them to the devices manually or automatically. To
change an IP address, the IP pool must first be defined. The use of the IP pool facilitates the administration of
IP addresses even if many video networking devices are connected. It is also possible to set some IP address
ranges to a single IP pool.
IP addresses assigned to devices from the IP pool are displayed in the list in black. Those not defined in the
IP pool but assigned to devices are displayed in red.
Important
Take care that the IP addresses used by the PC or other equipment do not duplicate addresses for other
devices defined in the IP pool.
The contents defined in the IP pool are saved to the system setting file.
Displaying an IP Range
Click the "IP Pool" button in the toolbar.
The "IP Pool" window is displayed, and the IP address range defined in the IP pool is displayed.
Adding an IP Range
1. Click the "Add" button. The "Add IP Range" dialog box is opened.
2. Enter a "From" and a "To" address.
3. Enter the "Subnet Mask" value.
4. If required, enter the "Default Gateway" address and click the "OK" button. The window is then closed, with
the new IP address range displayed in the "IP Pool" window.
