Broadcasts Initiated by Contact Activation
The I/O (input & output) interface’s control input is used for these broadcasts.
Broadcasts continue as long as the interface’s contact input is at make. Both audio
and control signals are inputted to the I/O interface from each connected input, such
as from a microphone or audio file, and if the control signal is ON (make status), the
broadcast is initiated.
Perform this setting in the Contact Activated Equipment settings portion of the
System settings. For details, please refer to Chapter 4, System Settings.
Broadcasts from the IP-300RM Remote Microphone
The following types of broadcasts can be made from the remote microphone:

Microphone broadcasts
Broadcast a built-in chime tone and microphone input over selected
broadcasting destinations.
External input broadcasts
Select broadcasting destinations, then broadcast the microphone input to the
I/O interface or external input from the remote microphone.
Emergency microphone broadcasts
Select broadcasting destinations, then broadcast a built-in chime tone and
microphone input.
Broadcasts with a higher priority than the microphone broadcast can be
carried out.
Recording playback broadcasts
Select broadcasting destinations, then broadcast a built-in chime tone and
internal recorded announcement, which is a microphone input recorded during
microphone broadcast. The maximum duration of the recorded announcement
is one minute. New recordings always overwrite the previous recording. If the
microphone broadcast exceeds one minute, it is not recorded.
Pattern activated broadcasts
Broadcasts of patterns in which broadcasting destinations and input sound
sources are combined into one can be carried out.
