5. In case of emergency hold the soft grip (7a)
of the rear pole (7) with the left hand, and
use the right hand to press two clips of the
quick release (30b). The product together
with the securing clip (30a) will be released
automatically from the body because of the
weight of the product (Fig. 23).

WARNING! Always attach the product to the harness (30). Do not
carry it only with your hands!

1. Loosen the locking lever (10) (Fig. 24, step 1).
2. Adjust to the required length by pulling out or pushing in the pole extension
(11) (Fig. 24, step 2).
WARNING! The length of the extension pole is limited! Stop pushing/
pulling as soon as you feel a resistance!
Extend the extension only to the length required to reach the hedges
being trimmed! Do not attempt to use the product at a length which
does not allow you to achieve proper footing and balance at all times!
3. Secure the position of pole extension (11) by fastening the locking lever (10)
back to its original position (Fig. 24, step 3).
