12.Lubricate the internal surfaces of the blade if the hedge trimmer blade (17)

overheats during operation (Fig. 32).

This operation must only be performed when the blades

have stopped running and the product is switched off!

NOTE:

When shaping it is advisable to achieve a trapezoidal shape

(Fig. 31). A trapezoidal cut corresponds to the natural growth of plants

and results in optimal hedge growth, as it will expose more light to the

lower end of the hedge.

Pruning times

Only operate the product at reasonable hours - not early in the morning, late at

night or on weekends/public holidays when people might be disturbed. Inform

yourself about local restrictions.
