BMS001 and BMS002 Stepper Motor Controller

Home Settings
When homing, a stage typically moves in the
reverse direction to the reverse limit switch (as
indicated by the factory set defaults). To
accomodate stages that can home to both Forward
and Reverse limits, the following parameters are
available.

Home Direction

The direction sense to move
when homing, either ‘Forward’
or ‘Reverse’.

Home

Lim.

Switch The hardware limit switch

associated with the home
position, either Forward HW or
Reverse HW.

Home Velocity

The maximum velocity (in real
world units) at which the
motors move when Homing.
(Acceleration is determined by
the Velocity settings).

Zero Offset

The offset distance (in real
world units) from the physical
limit switch to the Home
position.
