Input Statistics: Bitrate Measurement

Bit rates are computed as follows:



The

snapshot bit rate

is the bit rate computed with a period of 500

ms.



The

average bit rate

is the average of 10 snapshot bit rates. It is

computed every 5 seconds.



The

minimum bit rate

is the smallest bit rate of 10 snapshot bit rates.

It is computed every 5 seconds.



The

maximum bit rate

is the largest bit rate of 10 snapshot bit rates.

It is computed every 5 seconds.

In the following example, there are 3 average bit rates, 3 minimum bit
rates and 3 maximum bit rates according to 30 snapshot bit rates.
