4.3.13
Parameter P28:
MS MODE
This Parameter is:
•
Valid for Temperature Controller Zones
- Zones 1 through 16
- unit in: Zone number
•
Not
valid for
Limiter Zones
•
Not valid for
Current Zones
This option enables that a heat tracing circuit can be controlled by multiple sensors (Multiple Sensor MODE).
Very useful for:
•
Long line tracing
•
Critical line tracing
Adressing of multiple sensors is achieved with parameter P27
OUTP #
of all circuits within the applicable
controller. In the most extreme case the actual circuit can be controlled by 16 temperature sensors.
Parameter P28 determines the TC 816 Multi Sensor mode (
MS MODE
). Possible multi sensor modes are:
•
MS disabled:
Heat Tracing circuit is controlled by the temperature of the in parameter P26 set
SENSOR #
.
•
MS MIN:
Heat Tracing circuit is controlled by the
MIN
imum temperature seen by all sensors
addressed to the actual circuit.
•
MS AV:
Heat Tracing circuit is controlled by the
AV
erage temperature seen by all sensors
addressed to the actual circuit.
•
MS MAX:
Heat Tracing circuit is controlled by the
MAX
imum temperature seen by all sensors
addressed to the actual circuit.
Adjustment thresholds: 0 =
MS disabled
1 =
MS MIN
2 =
MS AV
3 =
MS MAX
Default value:
0

Parameter P29: Spare
This Parameter has no function, it is a spare parameter to give the possibility of future functional expansion of
the TC 816 heat tracing temperature controller.
