Chapter 5

Preventive Maintenance

This chapter describes the periodic maintenance procedures that should be
performed on the system instruments and components to ensure proper
operation. For instrument-level preventive maintenance information, refer
to the manuals for the individual instruments.

Since usage and environmental conditions vary greatly, you should inspect
the system components frequently until an appropriate maintenance
schedule is determined.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The 81

has been calibrated at the factory against a

NIST traceable vendor prime. Any adjustments made will void NIST
traceability.
