Definitions:

Pin 1:

C

arrier

D

etect

Used to show that there is an RF connection between
transceivers.

Pin 2:

R

eceive

D

ata

This is used to transmit data bits serially from the transceiver
to the system device connected to the transceiver.

Pin 3:

T

ransmit

D

ata

This is used to receive data bits serially from the system
device to the transceiver.

Pin 4:

D

ata

T

erminal

R

eady The transceiver only uses this line in Point-to-Point

Slave/Master switchable mode. (Refer to operation mode
selections) or for DTR Connect (refer to Multipoint
Operation)

Pin 5:

G

round

Signal return for all pins.

Pin 6: Not used

Pin 7:

R

equest

T

S

end

The transceiver does not recognize RTS flow control. RTS is
used as a control line in RTS/CTS mode (Refer to Radio
Transmission Parameters)
