TURN FREELY, ONE OR MORE ROLLERS MAY
HAVE SHIFTED FROM PROPER POSITION;
PRESS ROLLERS TOWARD CENTER OF PLANET
WITH FINGERS TO FREE ASSEMBLY. (FORCING
ASSEMBLY TO STRAIGHTEN CAN BRINNEL THE
INNER RACE.)

Remove internal planetary gear.

Remove planetary assembly and sun gear as one

assembly. Inspect planetary assembly.

Inspect sun gear as follows:

Visually inspect for general condition.

(2)

Perform over pins dimensional inspection.
