Step 4: Setting Jumpers on the Interface Adapter Pod
The interface adapter pod connects the XDS511 to the XDS522/XDS522A. To
configure the XDS522/XDS522A emulation system, you need to set the jump-
ers on the interface adapter pod.
The settings for the interface adapter pods are different for the XDS522 (see
Figure 1–7) and XDS522A (see Figure 1–8). Ensure that the jumpers are set
as described in Table 1–2.

The external-channel connector, which is located on the interface adapter pod,
is used to connect up to 16 probes. You use the probes to monitor parts of your
target system that you cannot view through the SE device. For information
