6.6 Pre-Operating checks

NOTICE

Before starting-up the machine, perform all checks and personally verify that the machine is in

perfect working order. In particular we recommend you:
•  Check the engine oil level
•  Check the diesel level
•  Check the hydraulic oil level
•  Check the track tension

If any of the above are not satisfactory please follow the procedure outlined in Section 9 to find

a solution to rectify the problem before startup.

(1) Checking Engine Oil Level

PROCEDURE

1.  Observe all safety warnings.
2.  Position the machine in a flat, safe place.
3.  Ensure that the engine has been off for at least an hour.
4.  Open the rear door and look at the visual indicator at the bottom left; check that the lubricant

level is between the minimum and maximum markers.
