Answering calls when you are already on the phone
Press the line key for the call you want to pick up. The connection is put on
hold (see ”Automatic hold (basic setting)”).
Answering the call depends on the settings of your phone (see ”Set info display”). If
the automatic hold was deactivated by the service technician, then the connection is
lost.
Automatic hold (basic setting)
You are making a call and want to retrieve a different call
Press the desired line key. The current connection is placed on hold and you
are connected with the next caller.
Manual hold
You want to put a call on hold
Press the ”Hold” function key F1.
This function is only available when there is no ”refer--back” (i.e. consultation) exist-
ing for this call. If that should be the case, an info window with the message ”Func-
tion not possible” appears.
Exclusive hold
You want to put a call on exclusive hold
Press the ”Exclusive Hold” function key F2.
Opposed to the ”Hold” function, no other subscriber can pick up this connection.
This function is only available when there is no ”refer--back” (i.e. consultation) exist-
ing for this call. If that should be the case, an info window with the message ”Func-
tion not possible” appears.
