TO REPLACE GEARBOX BEARINGS

FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or

Servicing Machine; Stop On Level

Surface, place blocks in front and back

of the rear tires.

1. Remove the gearbox assembly from the

machine. See TO REMOVE GEARBOX

ASSEMBLY instructions in this section.

2. Loosen the two set screws on the small

sprocket on the gearbox assembly. Remove

and retain the small sprocket, woodruff key,

and foam washer.

3. Go to the other side of the gearbox

assembly. Remove the six hex screws

holding the two black covers to the side of

the gearbox.
