4. Go under the machine in the area of the

right hand side brush. Locate the wires and

connector leading from the directional pedal.

5. Disconnect the directional pedal connector

from the main harness. Remove any plastic

ties holding the directional pedal harness to

the main harness.

6. Use a multimeter, set to the OHMS setting.

Check the red (B) and white (A) of the

connector with the meter.

7. The meter reading should be 2500 OHMS

(=/-- 50 OHMS).

8. Loosen the upper jam nut on the threaded

rod. Turn the rod to achieve the proper OHM

reading. Tighten the jam nut.
