4. Go up under the instrument panel and

remove the hex screw and nut holding the

end of the side brush lift cable to the lift

handle. Remove the side brush lift cable

from the machine.

5. Route the new side brush lift cable in the

machine.

6. Reinstall the three cable pulleys, sleeves,

and cable clips. Make sure the cable clips

are in the correct orientation. Tighten the

hardware to 18 -- 24 Nm (15 -- 20 ft lb).

7. Connect the new side brush lift cable to the

side brush pivot screw. Hand tighten the hex

nut. Cable should pivot on the hardware.

8. Raise the side brush.
