5.8.1 Operator List
Operator Code for SIM 1 and for SIM 2 can be set separately (Figure 22 FM11XX
Configurator window 2SIM mode setup). These Home Operators have the highest priority.
FM1100 every 15 min. checks a possibility to Home network connection.
5.8.2 Preferred Roaming Operator List
The Preferred Roaming Operators List for SIM1 and SIM2 can be filled up to 50 operators
(Figure 22 FM11XX Configurator window 2SIM mode setup).
Priority:

Home Operator;

Prefered Roaming Operator;

Unknown Operator.
At first, FM1100 tries to connect to SIM1 Home Operator, if operator is unreachable the
device switches to SIM2 slot and tries to connect to SIM2 Home Operator. If none of the Home
operators could be connected with, FM100 starts comparison of roaming operator priorities
from both SIM Roaming Operator Lists. Higher placed operator in the operators list has higher
priority. If there are no available operators from SIM1 or SIM2 Operator lists or the lists are
empty, FM1100 scans the network and tries to connect Unknown operator. If the connection is
lost, FM1100 will return to Home and try to connect to Home operators as it has the highest
priority.
FM1100 every 15 min. checks a possibility to main Operator List connection and further
goes by the priority.
5.8.3 Unknown Operator
If FM1100 doesn’t find any connection in SIM1, SIM2 Home network, and Preferred
Roaming Operator Lists by the priority it is connecting to an unknown operator.
FM1100 every 15 min. checks a possibility to SIM Home Operator List connection and
further, if it is necessary, operates by the priority (for example: SIM Home Operator is better
than Roaming Operator, Roaming operator is better than Unknown operator).
5.8.4 Dual SIM algorithm
Two SIM cards use algorithm is shown in the diagram (Figure 23).
