12.5.4 Advanced Topology: Relay Host with SSH Forwarding

This topology is ONLY for advanced network users with stringent security requirements.
This section exists to alert the potential user of the possibility of this topology. It
describes the topology in general and makes no attempt to document the stepbystep
procedure for implementation.
The general approach:
(i) There is a
proxy
computer on the Internet (140.186.63.239) whose IP address was given
to Iridium. The Glider makes connection via
telnet
to this computer. There should be
minimal services running on this computer.
(ii) The
proxy
computer
forwards
the port 6565 traffic over
ssh
(port 22) through the
Firewall(s) to the actual Dock Server at 10.20.30.40
