4.4  Connect Solvent Lines

WARNING

Risk of fire ignited by electrostatic discharge. Never substitute 
the black tubing on Combi

Flash

 systems. The black tubing 

(P/N 023-0503-06) is conductive. This tubing is required to 
dissipate static electricity.

CAUTION

To prevent damage or premature wear to the pump and internal 
valves, clean solvent should be used. The solvent should not 
contain any dissolved solids.

The Combi

Flash

 Rf system has four solvent ports on the left 

side panel. To complete the solvent connections:

4.4.1  Connecting the Combi

Flash

 Rf with 4x Module

1. Remove the jumper tubing from ports A, B, C, and D. 

2. Locate the solvent lines on the side of the Rf 4x module. 

These lines are labeled A through D. Connect the solvent 
lines to their respective ports on the Combi

Flash

 Rf 

system.
