system properties - e-mail tab
The e-mail tab contains an option to allow the Versa
TekLink™2G server to send e-mail alerts. To enable the
option, enter the desired server address, appropriate port,
account, password, and originating e-mail address in the
appropriate text box to set up e-mail alerts. To test the
e-mail alerts system, enter the recipient e-mail address
in the to address text box and click the send test
e-mail button.
system properties - data tab
The data tab contains options for manipulating the system
archiving. The text box at the top of the screen displays the
file path for all method, schedule, configuration, history
and archive files and can be changed by inputting a new
file path.
If selected, the click here to perform an archive right
now link allows the user to initiate the archiving
function manually. (This can not be performed while
running a schedule.)
If selected, the automatically archive data every...
check box instructs the system to automatically initiate
the archiving function at intervals indicated in the text box
next to the check box.
If selected, the after archiving, remove history Items
older than... check box instructs the system to
automatically remove files older than the period of time
indicated in the text box next to the check box.
system properties - connection tab
The connection tab contains communication options for
manipulating the connections to the system. The two radio
buttons designate whether the system will accept
connections from other computers on the same network
or only from the server computer itself. If the system
allows connections from computers on the same
network a listening port must be indicated.
