You may configure the instrument to always skip the powerup diagnostics or to
always run them at powerup. Use the following procedure to access the
diagnostics menus and make changes to the diagnostic power-on mode:

1.

Press and hold in the

Menu

button while turning on the power to display the

VM700T Startup menu shown previously in Figure 1--3.

In the VM700T Startup menu, highlight the C in the Diagnostic Configura-
tion line and press the

Select Line

button. This brings up the Diagnostics

Configuration menu shown in Figure 1--7.
