Appendix C: Adding Options

The following instructions tell you how to order an option upgrade and how to
activate the new option configuration in your measurement set.

Ordering an Option Upgrade

First you must locate the current option authorization key for your VM700T
Video Measurement Set. If your set is not running, turn it on and wait for the
system initialization to complete. Use the following procedure to locate the
option key.

related to the instrument identification number, the software identification
number, and the option authorization key for your instrument. Note the
option authorization key and record it for use when placing an order for a
firmware upgrade.
