6.18 HbbTV

Switch to a channel that is broadcasting HbbTV data.

Launch the HbbTV application by pressing the

Display and use of the HbbTV application is determined by the data received.
Generally it is basically operated as described below.

In the HbbTV application you can use the
arrow keys
or the keys displayed there to
move the highlight.

You can use the
OK
button to confirm the highlighted item and call this up, as long as
the highlighted item has additional subitems.

You can exit the HbbTV application by pressing the
Back
button or by pressing the
colour button displayed in the application itself.

6.20 Internet
Your device can use an existing broadband connection to access the Internet. To do this the
TV must be connected to the home network/DSL router via either LAN or WLAN.
Internet access provides you with various Internet functions such as unrestricted browsing,
use of interactive services, video on demand and the new
ISIO Live
TechniSat service
portal.
When using this please be sure to note the messages and displays on the screen as
well as sections 5.3 and 5.1 or 5.2 of the quick start manual.
A pre-programmed Internet list makes it easier to call up a few websites of interest to
you. This list can be expanded and amended how you want.
To ensure trouble-free display of moving pictures, a minimum bandwidth of 3Mbit/s
must be available. If the bandwidth is less, this can cause interruptions (jerky or static
images). This is not the result of a TV malfunction.
