5.1.1 IP mode
>
In this line select the IP mode (
Static, DHCP Client
or
DHCP Server
) in which
the TV should operate.
There are settings for the following functions here:
Static
In this setting the DHCP function is switched off. This means that the
IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS server 1 and DNS server
2 must be manually adapted to your current network environment.
Manual input for adapting to your network is as described in sections
5.1.2 - 5.1.5.
DHCP client
If your TV is connected to your PC via a router, select this setting.
The TV now gets the IP address and subnet mask allocated by the
connected router, as long as the DCHP function in the router has been
enabled.
DHCP server
Select this setting if your TV is connected to your PC directly or via
a network switch. The TV automatically assigns an IP address to
the connected PC. The TV's IP address and subnet mask can be
configured manually, as described in sections 5.1.2 - 5.1.5.
Please note that whether or not you need to make specific entries depends on the way
your network is configured.
The following settings (sections 5.1.2 - 5.1.5) can only be selected if the
Static
or
DHCP Server
IP mode has been selected.
