Updating the Roxio Software
TEAC America provides support for all items in your DVD-Recorder DV-W50E
kit. However, recording software updates (if any) will be available only from the
Roxio website.
To determine the software version currently installed on your system, click the
document icon in the upper-left corner of the
Select a Project
panel (Figure 20),
then select
About
from the drop-down menu. The
Roxio Project Selector
software
version number appears in the format 5.3.x.x.
If your computer has access to the Internet, you can download the latest software
update for
Easy CD Creator DVD Edition 5.3.x Basic
.
To download the latest software update:
1.
Make sure your computer is already connected and logged on to the
Internet.
2.
Move the cursor over the
web-checkup
button on the
Select a Project
panel (Figure 20).
The system displays a second
web-checkup
button and a short description of
the web-checkup function.

3.
Click the
web-checkup
button to access Roxio’s software update Inter-
net page.
Please be sure to download only updates that apply to
Roxio Easy CD Creator
DVD Edition 5.3.x Basic
, as other software updates will not work with the
version currently installed on your system.
