Modifying a Calibration
In some cases, a particular point from the calibration curve has to be removed, due to any of the reasons
listed in the beginning of the previous paragraph. Other times, the calibration needs to be extended, having
either more temperature points, or reference materials, added. In all these situations, the calibration file
may be modified.

In the software, click
Results
>
Post Analysis
>
Modify a Calibration File
.

A Calibration Modify window displays. Select
Individual Values
(to modify the temperatures and/or
thickness on all of the necessary samples and segments. Click
OK

Modify each sample temperature and thickness, as needed.

A Calibration Changes window displays, asking if you would like to create a new file to save the changes.
Click
No
to terminate the modification, or click
Yes
to continue.

A Sample Information window displays. Update the information, if needed.

If the Sample/File ID field is left unchanged, a window displays asking to overwrite the file. Click
Yes
to overwrite the file or
No
to terminate modification.

Modified calibration results display.
Adding a Reference
The
Add a Reference
option allows you to add one or more reference pieces to the calibration.
