LINE IN

Asymmetrical Cinch input for connecting the sub-woofer to a pre-amplifier or
surround amplifier fitted with an asymmetrical output.
If you wish the sub-woofer to be fed from a pre-amplifier, connect the pre-amplifier
outputs to these input sockets.
If only one output is available at the pre-amplifier
,
use a Y-adapter to split the
signal to both sockets (not valid for outputs of surround devices).

BALANCED IN

Symmetrical XLR input for connecting the sub-woofer to a pre-amplifier or
surround amplifier fitted with a symmetrical output.
If you wish the sub-woofer to be fed from a pre-amplifier, connect the pre-amplifier
outputs to these input sockets.
If only one output is available at the pre-amplifier
, use a Y-adapter to split the
signal to both sockets (not valid for outputs of surround devices).

MIC IN

The calibration microphone used for the automatic calibration process is con-
nected to this socket (see the section entitled
‘Automatic calibration’)
.

MIC OUT

The signal generated by the calibration microphone is present at this socket.

This socket is only required if you wish to calibrate the sub-woofer using a PC.
DISPLAY

The TCD 610 W SE sub-woofer features a four-digit seven-segment screen which
provides information about the unit’s operating status. The screen is located on
the front of the cabinet below the bass drivers.
Screen zones:

Four-digit display area. If any setting is altered - e.g. a change in volume -
the new value is briefly superimposed here.

Power-on monitor LED. Lights up in normal use.

The remote control receiver is located here.

The screen can be switched off entirely by holding the

button pressed
in. If the screen is switched off, any changes to settings are still displayed
briefly.
