10 STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
10.1 STORAGE
If it is necessary to store the appliance for a lengthy period of time, the following is recommended:
perform the following operations:
■
turn the main switch to the "O" position and disconnect the appliance from the power supply;
■
close the gas supply valve and disconnect the appliance from the gas supply network;
■
seal the terminal of the pipe where the appliance was connected with a threaded cap;
■
In the event of a change of owner or a new renter, submit all the documentation relating to the heating
system to the new owner/renter.
Important
The electrical connections must be installed by qualified personnel with the appropriate skills
and in compliance with the national and local regulations in force and with the contents of this
manual.

The dismantling operations must be performed by qualified personnel with the
appropriate skills and in compliance with the applicable regulations.
WARNING
During dismantling operations, personnel must be provided with personal protective equip-
ment according to current legislation.
DANGER
All dismantling operations must be carried out with the system switched off, disconnected
from the electricity and gas supply: before any dismantling operation, disconnect the power
supply by opening the main switch and disconnect the system from the mains, close the gen-
eral gas shut-off valve and gas shut-off valves to the appliances.
10.2 DISPOSAL
In the event of dismantling at the end of their useful life, do not dispose of equipment and components of the
systems together with municipal waste.
The user must take into account the current legislation of the country in which the system is located.
The user must therefore recover and / or confer the equipment at the end of its life to the appropriate separate
collection centres set up by the municipal administrations.
Adequate separate collection for the future use of the equipment assigned for recycling, treatment and envi
-
ronmentally compatible disposal helps to prevent possible negative effects on the environment and on human
health and promotes recycling and/or reuse of the materials of which the equipment is composed.
Illegal disposal of the product by the owner will result in the application of administrative sanctions provided
by the laws in force.
Use protective gloves, harnesses, eye protection,
helmet and safety shoes for installation in accord-
ance with current legislation.
