GAS PIPING
Important
Excessive pressure can result in poor combustion, flame ignition retardation and puncturing
of the tubes due to excessive temperature.
Important
It is the installer's responsibility to install pressure gauges, pressure stabilisers, pressure re-
ducers and anything else necessary for correct sizing of the gas pipe.
N.B.
It is advisable to install a visible pressure gauge, even downstream of the main gas supply
line, with a scale of 0 - 60 mbar (0.06 bar) in order to be able to check the possible pressure
difference upstream and downstream.
For correct installation proceed as follows:
For natural gas:
1) Install a pressure stabiliser and a pressure gauge with 0 ÷ 60 mbar scale (0.06 bar) on the main line, up
-
stream of the counter.
2) Adjust the pressure in order to obtain the values shown in tab. 7.1, page 62, depending on the type of gas
indicated on the plate of the appliance.
For LPG:
1) Install a "1st stage" pressure reducer in order to reduce the pressure to 1.5 bar near the tank;
2) Install a "2nd stage pressure reducer" to reduce the pressure on the external main line at the bottom of the
warehouse in order to obtain the valuesshown in tab. 7.1, page 62, depending on the type of gas indicated
on the plate of the appliance.
