T1 runs on same signaling types as E1 mode except R2. And T1 uses different Framing and Coding
methods, configure these parameters according to the details provided by the telephony
provider.
In most cases CRC4 is not needed for T1 circuit. Enable it only when the provider requires it. After
configurations been done save and reboot the SYN_PBX system. In the meantime you attach the
T1 line to the T1 interface. After rebooting you should get LED indication with L1 red, L2 red, L3
off, L4 green to indication PRI CPE signaling. For PRI NET and SS7 signaling LED indications please
check chapter

8.2.3 BRI Settings

BRI module can only be installed on Slot2 of theSyn_PBX80 and SYN_PBX100 systems. The BRI
module we have made some hardware modifications. A jumper had been added to the new BRI
modules that can adjust the modules to work on V1 or V2 platforms. If you are going to use the
module on V1 platform please make sure adjust the jumper to V1 position. ForSyn_PBX80 and
U100 orders you should have received the modules with jumpers on V2 position by default, so
you don’t have to change anything on the modules. Please see the picture below.
