PTC-1800 Product Reference Guide

Storing spare battery packs

Length of time

The Lithium-ion battery pack cannot be stored
indefinitely. It will self discharge and eventually
become inoperable. To prevent this, charge the
battery pack at least every six months.

Environment

! Avoid long-term storage of your
batteries in temperatures above 104
F° (40 C°) or in environments with a
relative humidity of over 95%.

Store your lithium-ion batteries in a cool, dry, well-
ventilated, and weatherproof location where the
temperature is –4 to 104° (–20 to 40 C°).
