PTC-1800 Product Reference Guide

Internal components

Bridge battery

The bridge battery keeps the unit’s memory intact
while the battery pack is being replaced or if it runs
out of power.

DOC Hard disk drive

The PTC-1800 contains an 8 MB hard disk drive
identified as HARDDISK.

Memory

The PTC-1800 has two types of memory:

•

256 KB of read-only memory (ROM)

•

16 MB of random access memory (RAM).

Operating system

The PTC-1800 uses the Microsoft Windows CE 2.12
operating system.

Processor

The PTC-1800's 190-MHz Intel StrongArm® processor
is fully IBM PC compatible. It provides exceptional
processing speed and is designed for low power
consumption.
