g) Clearing all memory cells
It may be necessary to clear all memory cells when using a master code with a different length
(e.g. a 5-digit code instead of the existing 4-digit one) or when programming transponders or
user codes for normal operation after the initial function test.
The transponders stored in memory cells 001 to 600 are deleted and the existing user codes
are reset to factory defaults.
By default, the preset user code for each of the 600 memory cells is “8888”. The
number of digits in the preset user code (5 to 8 digits) for each memory cell depends
on the number of digits in the master code (for example, if the master code has five
digits, the preset user code is “88888”).
Proceed as follows:
•
Enter the master code twice to start the programming mode, as described in section 8. a).
The yellow LED must light up.
•
Enter the programming code to enable deletion:
•
The code lock will emit 2 beeps.
•
Enter the code for deletion:
•
Enter the code for clearing all memory cells:
•
Enter the master code once again for security reasons.
•
The code lock will emit a long beep.
•
Press the
button to finish the deletion process. The programming mode is exited and the
code lock goes back to standby mode.
Example for deleting all memory cells (the default master code “1234” is used as an example;
you must use your own master code):
