l) Enabling/disabling protection against incorrect entries
This function enables to set whether the code lock should be blocked in case of incorrect entries
(by default: disabled).
When the protective function is enabled, both the keypad and RFID sensor of the code lock are
blocked for approx. 30 seconds in case of an incorrect entry.
The code lock can be set to automatically block after entering the invalid code 5 times
or entering 20 incorrect digits, as described in section 8. m) below.
Proceed as follows:
•
Enter the master code twice to start the programming mode, as described in section 8. a).
The yellow LED must light up.
•
Enter the programming code to enable protection against incorrect entries:
Each time the programming code is entered, the status changes between “protection
enabled” and “protection disabled”.
•
The code lock will emit a long beep.
•
Other settings can now be made, if desired. Press the button to exit the programming
mode.
Since there is no visual or audible indication whether the protection is enabled or
disabled, the function should be checked by entering wrong codes/digits.
