b) Stand fan
•
Never insert fingers, pens or other objects into the fan to remove dirt.
• Before cleaning the fan, turn it off and disconnect it from the mains.
• Clean the outside of the fan with a damp, soft cloth. Use a dry cloth to clean the mains cable. Ensure that water
does not enter the interior components.
• Remove the individual components as follows:

Step 1:
Lift the water tank (13) out of the fan
using the handle (11). Turn the tank over and
remove the cap by turning it anticlockwise.

Step 2
: Remove any ice packs from the ice pack
compartment.

Step 3
: Lift the protective cover (10) off the
compartment.

Step 4:
Carefully remove the hose and connecting
piece from the hose compartment (12).

Step 5:
Lift the hose compartment out of the
base.
• Clean the individual components with water.
• Clean the ice pack compartment and remove any
dust, dirt or other residue.
•
After you have finished cleaning and drying all the
parts, replace them in the reverse order.
Ensure that the hose
compartment is placed in
between the holes in the
holder.
•
Refill the water tank on a regular basis. Stale water can cause an unpleasant smell (especially in warm temperatures).
