Keep the fan away from appliances that generate heat.
Do not place the fan under vases or flowerpots, otherwise water may drip into the fan housing.
• Place the fan on a dry, stable and horizontal surface.
12. Using the fan
• To improve the cooling effect, add ice packs (not included) to the ice pack compartment (15). When ice packs are
added, water flows from the water tank (13) into the ice pack compartment. This cools the water before it is released
from the spray outlet (7). Freeze your ice packs for at least 4 hours in the freezer before inserting them into the ice
pack compartment.
• Ensure that the on/off switch (14) is in the off position (see diagram) and that the fan is disconnected
from the mains.
All LED indicators (14, 20) should be off.
• Lift the water tank out of the fan using the handle (11).
• Turn the tank over and remove the cap by turning it anticlockwise.
• Fill the tank with clean, cold water.
• Check that the seal on the cap is in the correct position, and then screw the cap back onto the tank.
• Turn the tank over and insert it back onto the ice pack compartment. Ensure that the handle is facing upwards
and that the cap fits into the hole on the ice pack compartment. The top of the water tank should be level with the
protective cover (10).
• Fully unwind the mains cable (16).
• Insert the mains plug (16) into a suitable wall socket.
• Move the on/off switch to the on position as shown.
The LED indicators will turn on.
The fan is now in standby mode. "P" will appear on the LCD display (19).
• Press the button to exit standby mode and turn on the large fan. "F" will appear on the LCD display.
• Use the button (23, 31) to adjust the speed of the large fan (4). Each press of the button reduces the
speed to the next lowest setting. The selected fan speed is indicated on the LCD display (29). 4 = Turbo, 3 = High,
2 = Medium, 1 = Low, 0 = Off
