d) Inserting batteries into the remote control
• Ensure that the batteries are inserted in the correct polarity.
• If you do not plan to use the remote control for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent them
from leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries can cause acid burns if they come into contact with your
skin. Always use suitable protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk
that children or pets may swallow them.
• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries can cause the batteries
to leak and damage the remote control.

Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never charge conventional, non-
rechargeable batteries, as this can cause an explosion.
