• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorized use. Safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the
product.
• Never touch the product with wet or damp hands.
•
Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next to the product. If
liquid or an object does enter the interior of the device, power down the respective socket (e.g. switch off
the circuit breaker), and then remove the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take
the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one.
Condensation may form, which can cause serious damage. Allow the product to reach room temperature
before connecting it to an appliance. This may take several hours.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
•
Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or an authorized repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.
• Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED indicators!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LEDs are built into the product and cannot be replaced.
b) Product
• A magnet is attached to the back of the IR remote. Keep the magnet away from other appliances and
objects that may be damaged or affected by magnets such as magnetic strips, credit cards, hard drives,
computers, monitors and measuring devices. Do not use or store the product near a pacemaker or other
medical devices.
• Do not use the fan near an open window, as this may result in a short circuit if the fan comes into contact
with rainwater.
• Make sure that objects (such as textiles) cannot get caught in the product. Long hair or curtains may be
sucked into the fan. Never cover the product when it is in use.
• Never leave the product unattended during use.
•
Do not insert objects or fingers into the protective grill when the fan is switched on, as this can cause
injuries.
•
The fan must be placed on a flat, stable surface. Ensure that there is a clearance of at least 10 cm
around the product. The product is not designed to be mounted inside furniture or other objects.
• Do not place the fan next to an oven or other sources of heat.
