Menu 4:

Operation

Subset of menu 5 - installation, but process-related.

User relevant parameters that might need to be modi

fied during daily routine. Normally password protected

and used by the process-operator.

Menu 1:

Messages

Reveals pending errors as well as an event history

(time and state of events that have occurred at an

earlier point of time) and maintenance requests.

It contains user relevant data.

Menu 2:

Diagnostics

Provides user relevant instrument and sample data.

Menu 5:

Installation

For initial instrument set up by SWAN authorized per

sons, to set all instrument parameters. Can be pro

tected by means of a password.

Menu 3:

Maintenance

For instrument verication, service, relay and signal

output simulation and to set the instrument time.

It is used by the service personnel.
