INSPECTION

IGNITER

Measure the resistance in the igniter unit.



09930-99320: Digital tester



Tester range:

Ω

(Resistance)

1. Remove the spark plug cap from the high-tension cord.
2. Measure the resistance.

Primary coil resistance: 0.5 – 0.9

Ω

Secondary coil resistance: 10 – 16 k

Ω

If the measurement is out of the specification, replace the igniter
unit.

SPARK PLUG CAP


