7-8 MID UNIT

DRIVESHAFT HOUSING/SWIVEL BRACKET

After completing reassembly of the mid unit, apply the Water
Resistant Grease through grease nipple.



99000-25161: SUZUKI WATER RESISTANT GREASE

• Apply the Water Resistant Grease to the following parts.

- Inside and outside surfaces of the bushings.
- Inside surface of the lower thrust mount
- Steering adjuster



99000-25161: SUZUKI WATER RESISTANT GREASE

• Install the steering upper bushings

in position as shown in

the figure.

• Install the swivel bracket STBD

• Install the stopper bracket

• Install the steering adjuster rubber

with the steering

adjuster plate

• Install the swivel bracket PORT

• Install the two swivel bracket bolts.



Swivel bracket bolt: 8 N·m (0.8 kg-m, 6.0 lb-ft)
