WATER PUMP AND RELATED ITEMS

• Install the water pump case

while rotating the driveshaft

clockwise in order to flex the impeller vanes in the correct
direction.

• Tighten the water pump case bolts

to the specified torque.



Water pump case bolt: 5 N·m (0.5 kg-m, 3.5 lb-ft)

SHIFT ROD

• Install the shift rod

with the stepped section of the shift cam

toward the propeller shaft.
