Remove the electrical inlet cover plate from the side of the unit by removing the plate securing screws. The
junction box can be moved to the bottom of the fireplace for bottom electrical entry.

Remove the cover plate knockout, then feed the power supply wire through the knockout opening and into the
unit junction box.
4.
Connect the black power supply wire to the power outlet red pigtail lead (
Figure 29
and
Figure 30
). Connect the
white power supply wire to the outlet common terminal.

Connect the ground supply wire to the pigtail lead attached to the outlet’s green ground screw. Restrain the inlet
power lead per NEC or local codes.
6.
Mount the wall switch in a convenient location on a wall near the fireplace.
7.
Wire the wall switch low voltage circuit (
Figure 29
).
NOTE:
The supplied wire has one end connected to the gas valve circuit and the other end loose in the bottom
compartment.
8.
After the wiring is complete, replace the cover plate.
