6.0 Maintenance
6.1 Maintenance
Very little maintenance is required on the SF-1020i flowbench; however, it is important to keep the
flowbench clean. Regular calibration is not necessary as long as you do not change or modify anything
inside the flowbench, but some manufacturing users find that periodic calibration ensures product quality.
Blower Motor
• Periodically inspect the electric motor for dirt, friction and
vibration. Dust can be blown away from inaccessible locations
with compressed air. Keep ventilation openings clear to allow
the free passage of air. Wipe away grease or oil with a rag and
petroleum solvent.
Refer to motor name plate or provided manufacturer maintenance
instructions for bearing lubrication interval.
Blower
• Inspect the blower belt for wear every 3 months / 1,000 hours.
• Replace the blower belt once a year / 4,000 hours.
Refer to provided manufacturer maintenance instructions for
detailed blower maintenance.
Caster Wheel Swivels
• Grease caster wheel swivel bearings once a year with chassis
lube.
