SEARCH
and
PLAYBACK
One
of
the
benefits
of
Pentaplex DVR
is
that
it
allows
user
to
enter
search
mode
while
DVR
is
in another
operation
such
as
recording.
You
do
not
need
to
stop
recording
to
search
and
playback
recorded
files.
There
are
two
2
Search
modes:
Calendar
Search
and
Date/Time
Search.
Press
SEARCH
button
on
the
front
panel
or
ALL/TIME/LIST
SEARCH
button
on
the
remote
controller.
Select
your
preferred
search
method
from
CALENDAR/TIME/PROTECT/CAPTURE
and
press
ENTER
button.
You
can
stop
playback
at
any
time
by
pressing
“
STOP
” button.
You
can
Pause, FF,
REW
and
PAUSE
during
the
playback.
If
you
installed
more
than
1
HDD,
DVR
will
show
you
all
events
and
Date/Time
for
all
HDDs
on
a
single
screen.
Select
the
date
that
you
want
to
see
the
events.
Use
direction
keys
to
change
the
month
and
select
the
date.
Press
ENTER
button
to
see
recorded
files
on
that
date.
Note:
When
there
is
recorded
file,
date
will
be
displayed
in
RED
.
Date
in
white
indicates
that
there
are
no
recorded
files.

Calendar
Search
Colored
time
blocks
indicate
that
there
is
(are)
a
(some)
recorded
file(s).
Each
color
represents
the
trigger
type
of
recorded
file
(e.g.
by
schedule,
motion,
sensors
or
network
client).
