SECTION 3: SYSTEM SETUP

Connect the extension cables to the camera drop cables.

4.

At the recorder, connect the video extension cable to the camera

below.

Connect the power extension cable to a

DV12-1000R power adapter

as shown in the photo above.

NOTE

Do

the power adapter into a power outlet at this time.

3.3 Install the ASK-4KIT-101 Audio Monitoring System

Using the following steps, install the ASK-4KIT-101 Audio Monitoring System in accordance with the instructions provided in the kit.
Please review the Installation Tips on page 5 of the Louroe installation instructions.

1.

Mount the microphone in the interview room in a location where it is equidistant from those in the room. The microphone
must be within 15 feet of the sound source.

2.

Place the audio system Base Station close to the recorder.

3.

Route the CAB-ASK cable between the microphone and the Base Station.

4.

Strip about 1 inch of the outer sheath from the microphone end of the cable, and then tear of the foil shield that covers the
leads. Notice that the cable contains a red, black, and drain (bare) wire leads.
