2.3.2 Functions Description
Inverter functions can be grouped as the following:
Conversion function
Inverter converts the DC power into the AC power, which conforms to the grid
requirements of its installation country.
Data storage and display
Inverter archives essential data including running information and fault records,
and displays them on the integrated LCD display.
Parameters configuration
Inverter provides various parameters configuration for optimal operation.
Communication interfaces
RS485 serial communication with RJ45 ports (RS485-1 and RS485-2), Ethernet
communication with RJ45 ports (Net-1 and Net-2), DI and DO terminals.
Earth fault alarm
With the standard Ethernet interface equipped, the inverter can be connected to
the router via a network cable. Then both the inverter information and alarm
signals will be uploaded to the cloud server SolarInfo Bank. When the server
receives an earth fault signal, it will automatically send warning e-mail to the
registered user. Inverter also provides a dry-contact (DO1 relay) for the local
alarm of earth fault.
Zero export (0% feed-in function, optional)
At the grid-connection point, the three-phase SUNGROW Energy Meter is used
for measuring the feed-in power. Enable the feed setting and set the limit value
via the LCD menu. Then the inverter will run with power derating once the meter
detects that the feed-in power is above the set value.
