4.2 Running the DMC Diagnostics Tests
There are two methods available for running the DMC diagnostics tests:

Through the DMC command line interface (CLI)— page 4-6
■
Through SunVTS— page 4-10
4.2.1 Running the DMC Diagnostics Test through the
DMC Command Line Interface
The
dmcdiag
utility runs at the Chorus level on either the active or the standby
DMC. All
dmcdiag
commands through the DMC command line interface. Refer to
the Netra CT 820 Server System Administrator’s Guide for more information on
accessing the DMC command line interface.
To display the version number of the
dmcdiag
utility, enter the following command:

utility for the active (1A) DMC, enter
