In order to avoid consequential
damage, do not continue working
with the machine if a rake (

of its tines (

) is broken. Always
replace a damaged rake – see
chapter on “Maintenance”.
Mounting the Carrying Ring
:
Mount the carrying ring (

) about
1 cm (distance

) in front of the
control handle (

) as follows.
:
Position the open carrying ring (

)
on the drive shaft with its tapped
hole on the left (user side).
:
Squeeze the ends of the carrying
ring together and insert the M6x14
screw (

).
:
Line up the carrying ring.
Tighten down the screw firmly.
Mounting the Gearhead
:
Place the power tool on the ground
so that it rests on the machine
support.
:
Loosen the clamp screws (
1
) on the
gearhead – do not remove them.
:
Apply a mark (with pencil or crayon)
at distance
A
(40 mm) from the end
of the drive tube.
:
Remove the protective cap from the
end of the drive tube.
