Install H3 doublers perpendicular to hatch
assembly.

Install 3/16 in. magnet flush with top of H2.
Check that magnet “sticks” to catch within
fuselage, adjust if necessary, then bond.

Test fit of hatch to fuselage assembly
☐
Lightly sand fuselage with 400 grit paper in
preparation for covering.
☐
Create faux glo head. Stack sequentially
laser cut balsa disks “a” through “i” over 1/8
in. dowel. Bond to dowel with thin CA.
☐
Use a sharpie or black paint to color “head”,
then cut dowel flush with bottom of “head”.
